Default iPad and Quilting

I saw a quilting book re: jelly roll patterns that I wanted to buy. I looked it up on Amazon and found it was $24.99, or I could get a used one for $19.99, or I could get one for my kindle app on my iPad for $6.97. Guess which one I bought????
I love using my iPad as storage space for all my quilting patterns - quilts, tablerunners, wallhanging, etc. This way I always have the information I need regarding amount of fabric, etc.
I love my iPad!!!!
What do you use your iPad for?

I use mine for storing pictures and patterns also. But I can't figure out how to upload OR print from it! Hate that.

What do I use my iPad for? Why, reading the Quilting Board (of course ;-)
And watching Youtube videos by Sharon Schamber and the Missouri Quilt Company. My YouTube Favorites category is full of quilting videos, how many times must I watch "How to Miter Corners" before I do it right (sigh)

It is a little hard to write a whole post on the iPad with that little 'virtual' keyboard so the desktop computer is used for that. However, since I got my iPad I am finding I spend more hours on it all the time. Just downloaded a How to Quilt book so I can have it right beside my sewing machine.

The iPad is a great toy for adults!

I've got the Kindle, but all I know how to do is plain old downloading and that is it! I know zilch about the I Pad , and need to learn more about those(?????) I have a "feeling" that I will be getting a new laptop from hubby for Xmas. He enjoys using the one I got him last year so much, sitting in his recliner, I think he feels sorry that I have to actually sit at my computer desk in the kitchen. LOL
