I have 60 lavender and 50 yellow polyester, 20 inch square napkins left over from my daughter's wedding. I couldn't bear to see all that fabric go to waste. I have never used polyester in a quilt before but am going to give it a try. I will machine quilt it. Any ideas for designs? Quick designs preferably. My daughter will be thrilled with whatever I come up with luckily!! TIA

Turn them into a lap quilt for her or a table runner and place-mats.

Great ideas already ... the possibilities are endless! You could be as simple as joining them as blocks and make a quilt.

Be sure to keep a few of each for them to continue to use as napkins in their home ... and perhaps yourself too?

Oh, I like the idea of a table runner and placemats to give on her anniversary.

Here is a great block, A Mother's Life from quilters cache, where the center block is red, use a fabric that blends the lavender and yellow together.

The fabric usually used for napkins probably won't lend itself to small pieces, so look for a pattern using not so small pieces, at least for these two fabrics.
