I have a friend that has two old pillowcases with wiley coyote and road runner that he would like to convert to something else to preserve them. He said that the colors are really faded. Is there a way we can restore the color? I was thinking of coloring them again, but with what? and if there is a way, how can we keep them from running or fading?
I know that all you brilliant people out there have ideas. Thanks!

I would paint them with some Shiva oil paintstiks. Then let them cure for 3 or 4 days, press them with a dry iron. The paint will then be permanent. I use the paintstiks on my quilts quite a bit.

AT Hobby Lobby they have paints by Aunt Martha that are made for fabric and they paint up beautifully. They look almost like an oil painting when you are done. This would really make those colors pop again.
