Default Isn't It Always The Case?

About 2 years ago I moved my sewing room from one room to another. In the move I came across an envelope full of pattern pieces and on the front of the envelope, in my handwriting, is simply written, "Snowman Pattern Pieces".

I didn't think anything of it. I don't like to use original pattern pieces, so I just photo copy or trace copies of the originals to use. Then I stick the usable pieces in an envelope, mark them and stick them in the original pattern's envelope or paperclip them to the pattern's page in the magazine. I figured that I would come across the pattern one of these days.

The trouble is, I still haven't found the pattern that this envelope goes to, but I know the moment I throw the pieces out, I'll find the pattern. Am I the only one this flighty?

Definitely don't throw it out...the minute you stop looking the original will show up. Happens to me all the time.

It might not even show up for years, but, yep, it for sure will if you toss it!
Maybe we should just create a "what the heck?" file drawer??

Drawer? I need to clean out my "what the heck" closet (and move it to the what the heck shed!).

if you don't find the original, will you make the quilted item? if you find the original, will you be able to copy it again? either quilt it or forget it!

Oh, no, I meant that I only found the pattern pieces. There's no instructions in the envelope or even a reference to what pattern it could go to.
