Saw a picture of a cat quilt on this board a couple of days ago.
The cats where sitting and the body was pieced like a new york beauty pattern.
Can anybody help please?

if you commented on it, then it should {probably} be in your "watched topics" list. at the top of this page, click on watched topics & see if it is there!

Here is the one Naomi is referring to

You could easily use more elaborate NYB blocks for their bodies too.
It looks like the fan has been appliqued onto the block.

I could not find it in the watched topics either.
I think someone posted pictures of a quiltshow and there it was among others.
The back was a quarter of a new york beauty circle and also the tail was pieced with triangles.

I found it again. It was posted among other pics from OKC quilt show.
Any idea where to get a pattern from?

http://www.citystitcher.com is the wonderful website for the designer of Sawtooth Cats.

She is a fantastic speaker also. I just went to a guild meeting where she showed 100 quilts from her whole life of designing.

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much! They do have the pattern for sale. And google "sawtooth cats" brings up a lot of links.

I also thank Sweetana for the link. I love this pattern as well. Citystitcher.com also has some cute dog and turkey patterns as well.
