I am looking for a pattern I can use to fit a notebook, my bible, a smaller notebook & my wallet in. Do any of you have any ideas where I can find a pattern like this?

Thanks a bunch.

Depending on the size of the notebook, the mini bowtucks pattern would probably do the trick; mine holds a whole bunch of stuff, and is super cute to boot. Don't know if it's satchely enough for you though.

First of all, I'm assuming that you are referring to paper note books and not a PC. A PC would require special padding & reinforcement.
Lay out all the items you want to carry, stacking them how you think would fit in your bag & take some measurements.
Here's my 3 favorite free purse pattern sites, should be able to find something!

I have found a ton of links for free patterns online - you'll spend a good while searching through them but only you can pick out one that really catches your eye...

I personally love messenger bags and have made the one from Heart of Mary. There are two sizes given but you can also make it bigger or smaller with a little bit of preplanning - same with any of these bags. I have also made a few others but offhand I don't remember the names of them.

Here is my tote bag tutorial links... http://yarn-or-fabric.weebly.com/tote-bag-links.html
and the purses tutorial links... http://yarn-or-fabric.weebly.com/pur...bag-links.html
I also have a separate grocery bag/market bag section that has some really really cute quilted bags... http://yarn-or-fabric.weebly.com/go-...cery-bags.html
I know you will find one that you like a lot!!
