My wonderful DH went with me today and talked me into buying a TinLizzie, longarm!!! The store had the Empress 18 on sale, which was a sit down machine, which would have fit better in my sewing room. When we got to the store the TinLizzie was set up and was also on sale! I got to play with it a little bit.
We talked to the sales people, it was slow, so they all came over. We discussed the pros and cons of the 2 machines and how now I use my regular Babylock machine with a 9" throat to quilt. I've been doing it the last couple of years since I quit using my Grandmother's frames. (It took me too long on the floor to get the quilt into the frame, then it took forever to finish and our living room was taken over for the whole time.)
Hurray, no more getting on the floor to pin the quilt!! Lizzie will come in either Wednesday or Thursday. Then my DH will put it together for me. I'll get to quilt on it next weekend when I'll have an extra day!!! If he's got if finished by then.
I already have 2 tops waiting for a wedding in June and another in July. It's going to go in between the livingroom and diningroom.

Wow! You are a lucky lady, with a truly dear hubby. Can't wait to see some of your new work on your new machine.
