I've definitely had to "up my game" since coming to the quilting board. You have challenged me and encouraged me. I appreciate it greatly. I will try to post some pictures soon of the quilts that I have made from your ideas and chit-chat. Thanks for the inspiration, ladies and gents!

No need to up yourself because of other quilters. Just be yourself. If something inspires you here, go for it!

Looking forward to seeing the quilts you've already done. I'm sure they will inspire someone else!

I think I always do better to when I feel like I am with someone like this group. It just makes you want to be better. So many hints and ideas-how can we go wrong.

Funny you should ask, someone just started a thread about avatars! Yes I did make it. I've made several of them. They go together so quickly! It's a 24" table topper. I play with the center pieces since the original pattern is supposed to be one square of fabric. It's also supposed to be octagonal shaped, but I was making so many of them, that got boring, so I played with the design.

Everyone should make at least one of these. They only take 3 fabrics and go together so quickly!
