It is gorgeous fabric and no I don't think it's too much red. But I love red.

Since it is a jelly roll, how about a "jelly roll race" pattern? It's simple and fun and will work with the colors. I don't think it's too much red. I like it.

I don't think there is too much red. But if it bothers you, leave out all but one of each value of red and look at it again to see how you feel about it.

I think it looks great but I also like red. You could do the Jelly Roll Race or a Rail Fence using 2 lights + red and 2 reds + light.

Oh, oh, oh that's pretty! Not too much red if you like red, which I do! There are some really neat jelly roll patterns out there. Wasn't there one on here a while back in the pictures section called red hot flash or something like that?

If you don't like the red, then find the fabric sold elsewhere where you can choose what fabrics you want. I am not sure if we are suppose to post pictures from other websites. You should just copy and paste the web address for reference.

Take a look at Jo's Country Junction:http://www.joscountryjunction.com/
Click on the Free Patterns button just below the top banner and you will find ideas on how to use jelly rolls (plus some coordinating yardage) if you are making a full quilt.

try looking at moda bake shop. On the right side, down just a bit, it says BAKERY. Under that click on Jelly Roll. It will search for patterns that use jelly rolls. I don't think its too much red. Maybe a diff background if the pattern calls for it. Blue, tan or brown, green (kinda Christmassy!), even turquoise or purple would be a great contrast to this collection. I am looking too! I have a blue and cream/tan jelly roll.

Let us know what you choose!
