I would like to try and make a jelly roll quilt. How do you figure how many rolls to buy for a queen size quilt?

I have a book in my hot little hand, it says three for a 92 x 106 quilt.

I think it depends big time on what pattern you make. Is it just jelly rolls? Will you use other yardage for background or borders?

I have no idea where to begin - just know I would like to try this method of making a quilt. Any help will be greatly appreciated

You might want to send a pm to cjomomma(Carrie) she made a queen size quilt out of jelly rolls. I think she used Batiks!
