I'm a new quilter and would like to hear about your experience using jelly rolls and charm packs for quilting. Thanks in advance for your input.

I love the charm packs. Never use the jelly roll.

I made a cape from jelly rolls and it was so much nicer than cutting my own strips.

Love charm packs--I have made a couple of small quilts and numerous tote bags and purses with them

I love jelly rolls. I've never tried charm packs. I love layer cakes too.

I love jelly rolls. They make strip piecing that much quicker since they're already cut. I do get kind of picky about which ones I buy though. The batik ones at Walmart have worked great.

love both of them. Go to Missouri Star Quilt Company's website and click on the tutorials; there's plenty of ideas and projects for either precut.
