Hi! Welcome to the board. I'm not doing your quilt, but I live south of you in Lincoln!

Nice to know another quilter not too far away, would love to join a quilt group in my area if I could find one, or even start one if there are enough gals out there. what are you working on now? you can check on line for Jenny Haskin quilts to see her patterns I am doing the Heritage one now. Also a jelly roll square with Moda batiks, going to try to quilt it in 3 sections, like the newsletter suggested.

I haven't done her Heritage quilt but have done others and teach/taught Sharman's Vintage Garden & Simon's Folly. Love her stuff but it can be challenging.

yes they are challanging , I also did Beyond Purple, a little more usable I think than the Heritage , one more block to go and then to try and put it together and quilt it somehow. I have trouble reading her instructions, but after 4 or 5 times it makes sense. wish you lived closer.

HI
Il live in CA and just joined this site. I want to start this quilt but I cannot find either polished cotton brocade or satin jacquard. Did you find either one. I did the Beyond the color purple quilt and won a blue ribbon and a red ribbon.
