Jenny at Missouri Star Quilt has a new Tutorial out

Was watching Jennys new tutorial yesterday on a Irish Chain Pattern.....have you seen it ??? Is that pattern really that easy ????? Great finished quilt behind her......
Yes that is a real picture of my hometown Temecula, California. We feature premiere Wineries, World Class Golf Courses, Pechanga Indian Casino and Hot Air Balloons

Yes, it is that easy! My very first quilt was actually a Triple Irish Chain. I took a class, wasn't a sewer, had no idea about quilting. And I didn't have any problems. With the single Irish Chain - just those 2 blocks, alternating. With jelly rolls, you eliminate all of the cutting of strips, very nice!

I started quilting the same way - with a triple Irish chain. No classes or lessons at all. I think it is still my best quilt!

Definately that easy. My first quilt was a double irish chain, and I have made many more since. The most recent one I made was a friendship quilt with over 300 signatures on it. Gotta love strip piecing!

What a grea guilt and the borders really pop everything out. So happy you have the signatures to make it priceless.
