I have her book, The quilter's album of patchwork patterns, checked out from my library. It is amazing, has 4080 blocks.

I fell in love with her work and ordered a kit for a wallhanging...Then I read that all her work was done by hand...I've not even looked at the pattern to see if it were also to be done by hand lol

I promise that you can use a machine. it is okay. My avater pic is two of her blocks that I have used with my own fabric. I really love her stars of all sorts. I guess that I am a starry person. hehe. But I just love her patterns. I have three quilts that I am putting together using her blocks. I haven't found the right fabrics for them though.
