    Default Joanns in Atlanta area

I will be making a trip to Atlanta. I must stock up on my stash.
Can someone advise me which are the bigger Joanns in the Atlanta area? Even better if they have huge clearance section!
I have a few days, I would like to visit at least a couple of branches.

Also, I've been hearing good things about Walmart fabric. Can someone advise which Walmart I should head out to?

    Thanks.

Sorry, no info on the best Joann's or Walmart - I'm sure a local will come along with that info.

But just an FYI - since you're travelling such a distance - if you're going to be there in October
http://www.sewingexpo.com/GeorgiaQuiltShow.aspx (about 25 minutes from the airport).

And if you're interested in other fabric sources, here's a list of GA. quilt shops:
    http://georgiaquiltcouncil.org/?page_id=16

And here's the Atlanta Quilt Shop Hop - there's a list of the 12 shops on the right hand side, so those would be the closest:

Will you have an address in Atlanta?
I think on another thread I suggested taking advantage of online sales and prices, and shipping to a US address.

Have a great and safe trip.

(the only reason I have those links handy is that I was just this minute trying to decide if I have the time to go the show.)

I live near the Duluth JoAnn's. The Alpharetta one is bigger and one of our QB members works there.

I was at the one in Kennesaw on Sunday. It's a nice big store and has a great selection of fabric and the 3 times I've been there they usually have 3 people cutting fabric so the wait isn't very long.

I've been to all the shops in the Atlanta shop hop and they're good too. Good luck and wish I was going to be there. I only live 120 miles away and could sure handle a stash building day.

PS make sure you get to Red Hen!

If you're staying in Marietta you should also check out Tiny Stitches and Red Hen; both are in Marietta (Red Hen might be a little hard to find but just keep eyes on signs). Great shops and great staff.
