Hi, I read the posts last week about Joann's having 17" FQs
and the last time I went in I noticed it seemed they were changing to the rectangular, new fold and I thought "those must me the 17" ones. Now today I went in and all the old square ones are back saying 18"x 21"---did they back out of the old ones because people complained, OR are these really only 17"? I ask because then I admit, maybe I didn't understand the earlier conversation.

Is it possible to open the FQs up and have them measured by their employees? That way you would be certain you were getting a full FQ.

Not legit to call them FQs if they are less than 18"...that's the width of 1/2 yard, cut in half. If 17", then not a true FQ.

I agree. But I didn't see the posts about it.
