    Default Need Pattern Suggestions

My 14 year old son just upgraded from a twin to a queen size bed. A few years ago I made him a quilt and pillow cases for his twin bed. Now he want a queen quilt from the same fabrics. The first one was just a simple Stripey pattern with a large print focus fabric. He wants a simple pattern. I thought of Warm Wishes, but he wasn't excited about it. Does anyone have suggestions for another simple pattern I could get done by Christmas?

There is a Turning Twenty pattern called "Superman" that makes a 16" block and is good for large-scale prints. We have made two and posted them here. One thread was "Ralph's quilt" http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...lt-t85346.html and the other was "Jennifer's Wedding quilt" http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t-t101268.html . We have two more that we're working on right now, but I have no idea when we'll get to finish them.
