    Hello,

I have 20 bandanas and I was wondering if they can be used for some quilted items.

has anyone used bandanas in a project?

    thanks,

I would think if they are thin, that you would want to put a lightweight fusible webbing on the back of them to help them hold up better

I did a pink and black bandana quilt. Be careful though. I put mine in the cleaners and the pink ones faded. I asked that the quilt be dry cleaned and the owner said that is how it was cleaned. I was so disappointed. The other quilts I had cleaned turned out great. I have some black and red ones and may do another. I may also see what colors are available online. May have better luck finding a better quality of fabric.

Thank you guys for your answers.

I think I'll try something fun with these bandanas I have on hand.

I loved the idea of a Harley bandana quilt. Hubby is in love with Harleys. He has been a bike since forever. I think this would be a great gift for him.

Now I have something to add to my to-do list. lol.
