Thread: joined a guild today

Well, I joined a quilt guild this morning like I said I was going to do. Had a good time and they really appreciated the 4 charity baby quilts I made.

I brought my 'wild thing' quilt for show and tell too.

I'm going to try to use up some more scraps and make more charity quilt for next months meeting.

So glad you had a good time. May join one when we move.

I recently joined a quilt guild, too, for the first time
and am really enjoying the people and activities!

You will have to keep us posted on your fun!! I keep saying I am going to check out other ones to find the fun one....but, just can't seem to have the time in the evenings...oh, well...someday:)I'll just feed off your fun stories until!:)Skeat

I'm glad you had a good experience! I just joined one too, and I'm having so much fun. From reading the guild posts here I think it's a hit or miss type of thing as far as guilds go. We're amongst the lucky :D
