    Juki Exceed 600

Does anyone oil these machines. I replaced my Brother NX-600 with this Juki. Compared to the Brother this machine is loud. All the reviews say the Juki is so quite, this has not been my experience, and I'm soon getting hearing aids. I'm guessing it will be louder then. I go to a sewing group so I know there are louder machines out there. When I used my Brother the other ladies would ask if I had my machine turned on. Not so with the Exceed.

I have the Juki HZL-600 aka f600 and I do not find mine loud or noisy at all and they do not need to be oiled, perhaps if you're finding it noisy a good cleaning of the bobbin and surrounding area might help. If all else fails do contact the place where you purchased it and they might be able to better assist you. Good luck, i love my Juki and have never had any issues with her.

Cleaning was my first thought. I rarely fill more than two bobbins. When they are used it's time to clean and change my needle. I used a good thread, have since switched to a poly type thread in my attempt to create less lint. Wonder if this machine is a thread snob. Tried a pad under my machine. I think I really baby this machine too much. Have had it serviced and they say it is fine. Guess I expect too much.

My f600 is louder than my Babylock. A couple times a year I add a drop of oil under the bobbin after cleaning that area out. Seems to help the noise. Mine does not care about what thread I use.
