I bought this pattern a few weeks ago when I was in Austin. It's by "Me and My Sister Designs" and is called "Juliet". The body of the purse fabric I got at Jo-Ann's, the rest I got at the quilt show that was here last week in Dallas. I started it today and just finished it tonight, so about 12 hrs, with supper break. Still gotta feed the boys around the house! This is for my girly girl niece Amber, she's 12 yrs old. This is my first pic to share on here of something that I have done. I just recently started quilting and am having so much fun with it. Thanks for looking.

Thanks. I tried to post this from my IPad, but couldn't get to the pics. So had to jump on the home computer to add pics.

The handbag looks so beautiful and you chose excellent fabrics. The handles are clever and I love the bow. She will love it. Well done Bobbi.

It wasn't that hard at all. I did have to look up on You Tube to see what they were talking about "Blindstitch" on the cuff. I was so confused by their instructions on it. But once I saw it, it wasn't hard after that.

I just loved the body fabric, reminded me of a childhood toy I had "Spirograph" and loved making pictures with it.

AnnieH--Thanks much, the bow is not attached and she can use it to tie her long hair back if she really needed to. Or I could make different bows for it for a change up.
    Thanks Bobbi

Neat purse. I really like the black and white spirograph fabric. And the red handles just makes it pop! I'm sure your neice will love it.
