I have been wracking my brain (what little I have) for weeks trying to come up with a way to get all my thread in one central location. After talking with my friend Sharon this morning I was looking around my sewing room and suddenly realized the 7 drawer jewelry case I had sewing notions (and junk) in would probably be big enough for everything. I have been working for almost 2 hours and have ALL my thread in this cabinet! If you have one of these sitting around somewhere and need a place for thread I really recommend you give it a try. I didn't get a picture of the top drawer but I put varigated and specialty threads in it.

What a great idea! You could probably find one of those at a garage sale. Much nicer looking thread holder than anything I've seen before! They look so pretty in their new home!!
