I'm the same way. I love the softer, wrinkled look. If you're crazy, then so am I.

I think it happens more often, Loretta, with the quilts that the fabric or batting isn't pre-washed. Love the old time look!

I love how it looks like has it the "loved" look. I want quilts to be used not looked at.

My uncle is infamous for this!!! And he works with wood. Only when I say that he laughs and says he is making something useful because no one can use a big ol' tree trunk but the fabric is already useful as is. Men!
I like the washing stage too! That's when I feel like it's done!

I need to use this with my hubby!! :lol: :lol:
My sister doesn't totally get it either. She knits. But she's planning on make quilts for her kids (all 5), but I'm sure she won't cut fabric as small as I do.

My DH asked me what I was going to do with all those rags I bought. I said what rags? He said all those rags you bought yesterday. I bought a bundle of fat quarters. :D :D :D :D
