I love the Bono's patterns and have bought at least 2 of them, but have never had the nerve to start one. If you have made one of their quilts did you find it very difficult? I consider myself an intermediate quilter leaning toward beginner because most things I make are really very simple. I don't usually shy away from a challenge but I really don't want to start something that I won't finish (eventually). Would love your input!

I haven't made one yet, but do like the look of them! I hope you get a good response on this thread and get the encouragement you need to start your endeavor! Please keep us posted on your progress!

Polly, a good idea would be to make one block as a sample. If it doesn't turn out to your liking you can make a pillow or tote with it. If you like the results, continue with the other blocks.
You'll never know what your abilities are unless you try. We surprise ourselves sometimes.
Good luck, Kutnso

I have one of hers and haven't worked up the nerve to try it yet. She has beautiful patterns.

I've been reading so much about these patterns---so I'm going to Google her right now. Thanks ladies. Kutnso

I believe she has free blocks on the website that build your skills for her designs. Take a look. Try it--you might like it.

Which quilt pattern is it? Knowing this will be helpful :D:D:D

Check out her corrections page to see if your pattern is listed there  before you start :D:D:D

I love her patterns! Try out her free rose bud pattern to see if it's something that you are comfortable with. I have her Angler2 and it's wonderful help in getting consistent 1/4 seams and great with 1/2 triangle squares and such.
