Default Knee Lift

Hi,
Does anyone know of any sewing machines that are under $800 that have a knee lift?
Thanks

My Juki and Babylock Jane has them. I never use the knee lift. It just gets in my way.
I suppose one would have to get use to it.

All my Berninas have knee lifts- love them. Maybe you could find a used machine that has one.

My Juki TL2010q has the knee lift and I use it all the time. A new model is $900-1000, but if you might get a demo a little less.

The Juki TL2010q not only has the knee lift it has a thread cutter on the foot pedal. Sounds wierd but oh so worth it. Between the knee lift and the cutter, your hands are free to only handle fabric. The cutter almost eliminates the need for chain stitching since it cuts with less than a 1/4" tail.

I don't have a knee lift on my Viking Sapphire and don't even know why you need one.
When I stop sewing my foot automatically lifts just a little when Im in needle down mode. Love this feature.

Janome has some models that fit your request - I had a 3050 (I think that was the model) and it was well under $800 new when I bought it. I think the actual lift lever was separate though and cost around $50.
