Knock on wood - I may be ready

I've had my Janome Artistic 18 since July. I've spent the last 3 hours practicing pantographs on my wide muslin. Got my fingers crossed that it may be time to load a panel and try a 'real' practice quilt tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Good for you! Nothing will help you more than that practice.

Julie, I've got to do that too. We've quilted some before, but with the groovy boards. And 2 paper pantographs. They are okay, but we're[husband and I] not learning to do our own thing. Barny

Have fun remember to relax along with the practice. Light hands. shoulders down, stretch breaks. You will do great!
