Another SITD here. I'd go with a meander or crosshatch in the background.
Great quilt! Whatever you choose will look great.

You did a beautiful job on this lovely quilt. I like the simplicity of its design and your thoughts about SITD is, IMHO, the best way to go in quilting it. Please post when it's complete.

I love the pure simplicity of it....so relaxing...so peaceful. Beautiful job on choice of colors. Whatever you decide I think I would prefer minimal quilting so as not to overpower the beauty of the piecing and design.

I love the forest look in quilts and yours is very beautiful. I think the STID would be great. I think some of the white space begs for quilted design. Perhaps you could consider stitching in some forest creatures to give texture and interest. Children's color books are frequently full of birds, little animals, etc. Just a thought because I know that whatever you decide to do will be lovely.
