    Went to the festival yesterday and O/D'd on all that good food. The Quilt Barn was mind boggling. Stupidly, I didn't bring my camera thinking picture taking wouldn't be allowed - but it was! One quilt was more beautiful than another. The workmanship was something I can only dream about. Met Diane Phalan at her booth - she is such a sweet and gracious lady. I bought a few 2012 calendars for gifts and she personalized them for me.

    I wasn't able to go unfortunately, and it's so close to me! but I saw in the paper that the one quilt in the auction went for $11,000!!!! it's not fair, but I congratulate whoever made that quilt! It was really pretty too!

    I was wondering how much one of the auctioned quilts would fetch. WOW! Thanks for sharing the website.
