Default Replace Alto's Quilt Cut Mat

I saw a post a couple days ago, where someone said they had just replaced their mat. I went to the Altos site, but couldn't find replacement mats. How does one replace the mat? It's seems to be attached pretty securely..just wondering because mine is about done in and I would rather replace the mat than the whole shooting match.

They have the mats on the Altos site:

I think the mats are just attached with double stick tape. Should be able to pull it off. One of the corners should be loose. i have taken mine off a couple times because it wasn't straight.

It's double stick tape. I asked when I bought it. I have taken mine off many times to wash it.

I replace mine and I thought the same as you, that the original was pretty securely attached. However, when I started pulling, it came right off. The new one is just stuck to the old tape.

sewezquilting.com has the mats. I replaced mine after several years. Just lined it up using an edge of a ruler as a spacer [the ruler sticking up 90 degrees from the mat.]
