IMHO Accidental Landscapes by Karen Eckmeier is a good one. Simple to do, easy to understand.

Landscape Quilts by Nancy Zieman and Natalie Sewell printed by Leisure Arts/Oxmoor House. It was printed in 2001 so I don't know about availability but try Amazon.

Both of those books are great .... see if your local library system has them for checking out and see which you prefer. That is how I got to see both of them.

This one is good. They also have videos with it and you can watch it on line at Sewing With Nancy or the public ttelevision show she has.

Totally depends on what style of landscape quilt you want to make. Try Landscape and Illusions by Joen Wolfrom, Picture Piecing by Cynthia England, and Quilted Landscapes by Joan Blalock. They all have very different styles.

Karen Eckmeier also offers individual patterns for a more cost-conscious first effort.
