    Default Lap pillow for applique?

Does anyone know of a pattern for a pillow specifically designed to put in your lap for doing applique?

I found a photo of one here: http://pieceocake.typepad.com/piece-...-and-that.html . It's awfully cute, but I'd like some options--maybe one with pockets, needleholder, scissor loops and that kind of thing.

Any suggestions would be most welcome.

In the contact you have it says Claire ....forgot but the pattern plus instructions on the right scroll down a little. There are big and little sizes. Great thank you going back to page to study. Must make one or two. Or ..........

Love this cushion! Thanks for the tutorial. I plan on making my sister one and one for me. We both do applique.

I read this post yesterday and thought this was a cool idea, but I would never do it. After thinking about it all night I decided this would make a really nice gift for a Christmas exchange at our quilt guild meeting. Thank you for making the title of your post so clear -- it was easy to find again. I did bookmark the tutorial! I plan on using everything from my stash but will have to purchase the buttons so it will meet the criteria for the gift exchange ($10.00 or less and something you would like to get).

I made one too. Used some charms left over from another project. Gonna use it for a book/iPad rest when in bed.
