Sorry I can't remember this and can't find right words to search for!
When matching seams and one block is an itsy-bitsy bit bigger that the other, should the bigger block be on the bottom or on the top when maching sewing. I have a Pfaff with IDT. (built in walking foot)

Sew with a baggy bottom! The larger one goes against the feed dogs, although with a walking foot, I'm not sure it's going to make a big difference.

What a great way to remember it!! Thanks. "Prolly" be OK either way except one "block" is 4 layers of fabric with batting in between and to be sewn to one layer (sashing. )

Yep, that is the way I was taught too--baggy on the bottom!!
Maybe I couldn't remember because with old age my bottom no longer bags!!

I always revert to the WAY back of my days working for Stretch 'n Sew....""sew with a loose bottom"".
Of all the things i've lost, i miss my mind the most.
