Great post! I too, have thought about this. I keep thinking "I'll do that ME project later." So now I have quite a collection of these someday projects. Well, no more! I decided at the beginning of the year that I am going to make a few things for myself. The time is now. Life is too short, and need to quit procrastinating. I matter. I want to enjoy my own creations while I can. So let's band together and be creative for ourselves, and those fun projects!

I am still learning (self taught) to quilt but my priority is to make a queen quilt for each of my 6 children and then start on smaller lap quilts for my 9.5 grandbabies quilts. These are what is most important to me.

If the kids are each only to have a small portion of the quilt, may I suggest that you include a photo of the undivided quilt on each wall hanging?
