Default Learning the longarm

Went to my dealer yesterday for an intensive lesson on my longarm (Janome Artistic 18). Since my machine needed to be looked at and have a few things tweaked, we used it at the lesson. It was great because when something went awry, I stopped and asked "ok, what's this and why is it happening?" 5 hours later, the tension is set and the stitches looked beautiful (my feathers - uh, not so much). But I learned so much and am ready to get practicing on this beast. Keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best!

Good for you to get a longarm and get to sew on it. You just need to practice and everything will get better. I just use one or the other of my 9" throat machines. No room for a long arm, don't need one.
