Would someone please tell me how to thread easily? I have the hardest time threading my sewing machine, cannot get the thread to go through the needle. Does someone know of a needle threader for a sewing machine? Thank you

I was told to put a piece of white paper behind the needle to make the eye of the needle easier to see. My new machine has that area painted white.

A lot of the new machines take care of that nasty little bother...but there are still those of us around with a machine that uses the manual method. :? I have found that snipping the end of the thread leaves a nice sharp edge and enable it to enter more easily. You can do it on a slant as that provides a leading edge for the rest of the thread to follow. I don't see why a regular needle threader wouldn't help as well. It is still the eye of the camel...try it and see which woks best for you. :-)

I had my machine in the shop recently and when the guy was threading it he dropped the presser foot , so when I got home and it makes it so much easier because you have a little bit more room.

wet the eye of the needle, not the thread, it helps draw the thread through :-)
