I'm looking for a 5" X 5" ruler. I can only find 4 1/2" or 5 1/2". Does anyone know where I can find a 5 incher? Thanks in advance. :?

The only one I have ever seen is for Dear Jane blocks. Those blocks are 4 1/2" finished so the ruler that goes with them is a 5" square. I purchased one at JoAnn Fabrics. It came with the ruler for the border blocks too, so it was not cheap-about $15 for the two. I used a 40% off coupon with it. Hope this helps you some.

Would it not be better to buy the next size up and get more use out of it. Do you specifically need a 5?. Mind me asking what are u working on?

It is for the Dear Jane blocks. I tried to order one from fabricstodyefor.com, but the website will not accept my information. I have sent them an email and maybe they can fix it. Or I can look for it at Joanns, thanks to Marica.

Thanks ladies, Bettlove

I needed a strange size once, and had a piece of polyglass from the lumber store that we cut with a jizsaw, then smoothed the edges by rubbing it on concrete. Rather primative but it worked great!!
