This month our local guild featured Less Than Traditional by "Charlie". It was presented by her daughter Raylene Salazar. She was a humorous speaker and had lots of wonderful samples to share with us. She also has a notions website and she brought tons of stuff for us to purchase.

I have seen this design/technique many times, but "Charlie" is the original designer of it. She developed her method back in the 1980s. She has created templates in three different sizes for her method and I had to buy all of them. (Well, maybe I didn't have to buy all of them but, well you know). If you get an opportunity to hear her speak, make sure you take advantage of it.

I too, have been to her workshop. Love her to death. I bought most all of her rulers and patterns and books. I will some day make something. I have her DVD to remind me.
