Both are beautiful but I would go for the light on this one. And, I love the fabric!!

Oh - what a decision - they are both nice. I think I have to go with the "dark" just a fraction more !!

It just might be your pictures but...I think the beautiful colors POP more on the lighter fabric. But I love the dark background too.

Hard choice but I like the light just a tiny bit better.

BOTH!!! oh my goodness- 2 totally different looks- both dramatic- i love them both- it would depend on who the quilt was going to- the purpose- to decide which way to go- but i would want one of each!

For impact, I prefer the dark background. It looks like a stainglass window. If I was going to put it on my bed, I think the light background. There isn't a lot of light in my bedroom and the dark one would look too dark in there.

Make a two-sided quilt dark on one side & light on the other.

I love working w black, but this time I think they are equally attractive. Just a matter of what look you're going for or where it'll be used.
