I usually tend to lean toward a black background, but not in your case. I think the floral fabric shows up better on the light colored background. It being floral and on the dark shade at that, it just seems to just blend in with the black almost to me anyway.

I like them both but if it was mine I would do the dark.

I think the light is gorgeous and I usually go towards the darker colors.
