Look in the local weekly paper, too-- my church sponsors a Quilter's Bible Study two Sundays a month (in fact, I'm the leader of it) so there may be a local equivalent there.

HTH,
Marcia

Yes but the only JoAnn's is 50 miles from my house. I work over by the JoAnn's store but they give lessons during the week while I am at work. I was trying to find someone close to by house so I could take my machine and learn on it and hopefully be able to do it on the weekend.

Never thought about that. I am afraid if I go to a Senior Center I will want to adopt and grandma or grandpa. :D

Nothing wrong with that. They would really enjoy your company.

As well as I would. My Grandmother was my best friend from the time I was 18 years old until her passing. Older people have so much wisdom and knowledge. I think more people shoud visit Senior Citizens Home's just to say hello and but a smile on their faces.
