A friend is having a baby girl in Aug. and naming her Lily. I'm making a quilt but would love to make her a quilt block with a lily on it to frame and hang n the baby's room. Anyone have any ideas where i can find a pattern?

Do a google search for a free Lily quilt block pattern. Shouldn't be hard to find and you can pick the one you like.

What a great idea! I have a granddaughter named Lily. I know there are paper piecing patterns that are called lilies...don't know if that is what you might be looking for.

you can always look up lily coloring book pages on google images and use one of them for applique (either fusible or hand applique)

This Lily loves the Carolina Lily Block. I use to be the only one in town and now I have lots of little bitty Lily's running around. The name has become popular again.

Here's an Amish Wallhanging version

Jinny Beyer has a free Lily that she did for her garden quilt. Check out her blocks.

A quilting book in your public library might have one, too.
