My daughter in law saw a miniature guilt in a small picture frame Does any one have any helpful hints on how to make one?

Miniatures are just tiny little quilts. You can draft them easily. Start with a simple nine patch and reduce it by the percentage you need to make the block.
Sometimes it is easiest to paper piece a miniature.

There are some wonderful miniature books.

How big (or small) do you want to make the frame to be--then how big do you want the quilt to fit in the frame? How much detail do you want the quilt to have? And yes check the miniature section for sure!

Do a search, or look in the tutorials for Rhonda - she does great minatures! She has a Sun Bonnet Sue, Bears Paw, Stars, and much more. She even has a sampler here:

I took a class not long ago on miniatures, and they used the same cut down techinque as Rhonda.

Rhonda also has templates available, PM her, and she will let you know about them. They are great templates!

Good luck, and be sure to post pics!
