I have no idea of what to call these..but they are the little bags that you can attach to walkers for our nursing home friends.
I overheard someone say in a quilt shop that the ladies love these and I was given a huge bag of fabric yesterday that I thought I could make some of these with.
Thanks...

Google "Walker bag pattern" many links come up. Above is one of the many free ones available.

How sweet of you to think of making some for the nursing home folks.

They just had a pattern for that in the christmas edition of Connecting Threads. I'll bet you'll find it at their site.

I just made a bag from the pattern Lisa listed. Quite easy and so much space. Ends up with two pockets on one side, three on the other and then the middle is all open as well. Of course, they will need to be careful with how much stuff they put in the standard walkers to keep them from falling over. I put the one I made on one of the wheeled/seated walkers and don't think there will be a problem.

Found pic of the one I made.

Pattern shows the bottom tab, putting button on the bag, but I had to put the button on the tab of this one because I made the bag up to point of putting in buttonholes and adding buttons before getting the walker from Mom to test it out. But it still works out okay.
