I just purchased a used Tin Lizzie 18 "Lizzie" and frame. I can't wait for her to reach her new home, so I can get her set up, attach my Qbot and play. By the way, I'll have a Pfaff Grandquilter, stitch regulator and Grace Next Gen frame for sale soon. Yippee!!! :D

Which TL did you get? I have the TL18LS (2009) and Qbot 2.7 upgrade on it. Love it!
We started a tinlizzie group on yahoo..
TinLizzieLongarm, and we have been getting the best help there, including with our Qbots. Friendly group.

I have the original (heavy, pre 2007) TL18. I had an issue with it, which was caused during transportation. After some days of investigation, I found the source of the problem and have corrected it. It worked fine in "Speed" regulated mode, but wouldn't work in "Stitch" regulated mode. One of the wires in the control box broke off and I had to resolder it back in place.

I've removed my Qbot from my Pfaff 9" GrandQuilter setup and will be adding it to my TL18 setup tonight. Then I'll be ready for some test quilting on the TL18.

Glad it's going now. Some on the TLL group have had cable problems. I think the company got a bad lot of cables in. Hope they have it sorted out.
Make sure the cables to the Qbot are seated in all the way when you hook it up...I had one loose yesterday...overheated the motor...noticed how hot it was...unplugged the Qbot...checked the cables..the one was only partway in. Didn't hurt the unit...but could have caused a fire had I not noticed it.
