Does anyone know a good place to find a directory of local quilting shops? I would like to peruse some of their quality goods, but alas, I cannot seem to find any in my area.

I know this will sound crazy - but when I moved to NH last year, I just googled "quilt shop NH". I found several small and large local quilt shops.

I also found these sites tonight (there are others). I just googled "find quilt shop"

Also - did you look at the fabshophop site? Hope this helps!

Not at all crazy! Whenever I go visiting anywhere in the world, I always google quilt shops and fabric shops before I go! :D

Yeah, Barb - my DH is very tolerant! He always says 'I suppose you just happen to know of some fabric shops round here' whenever we go anywhere! On my recent trip to Holland, he even googled for me so I didn't miss any only listed in Dutch!

I google them when I am out of my area too. Then I use the msn maps to print a map out. Addiction is such a wonderful thing.

http://www.ruralintelligence.com/ind...cles_shopping/ is another resource for your area. It really cheered me up to see Bangall on the front page.
