Log Cabin Quilt as you Go.
#12
Ok, sorry it took so long to get back - life has been busy.
Anyway what I ended up doing was creating my log cabin block then pinning the sandwhich of layers together and stitching a center square around the 2 small blocks and oblong at the middle. I pulled the ends through to the middle and tied. Then I worked out stitching the sandwhich together in squares. Finally I stitched the fronts together of the blocks in my pattern hand stitching the seams on the back.
It takes a little extra work but I do get a nice neat stitch on the back.

Oh, yes, Whisper, please post a picture. Since our class on qag......I've been trying to figure out in my mind a way to do it with larger quilts. These instructions without pictures don't do much to help me. The words begin to swim on me....
I know I'm bad, I never did get the pictures on a site y'all could access, but it's a goal for the coming week.
Happy Quilting,
Sharon
