Like you I didn't know what to do about the quilting on my log cabin quilt. In the end I took it to a LAQ, who did a Baptist fan pattern over it. Looks lovely.

I just had a log cabin quilted with the fields and furrow pattern. It was a twin and I am giving it to a young lady. She and her husband lost everything is the flood. My LAQ did a magnolia pattern on it and it turned out beautiful. You can quilt anything on it.

This is my first stitch in the ditch with a log cabin. Do I start at the middle or at the ends? Thanks!
