This is the easiest pattern I have made that looks like the Lone Star. It goes together like a nine patch. It is all HST and rectangles. Super fast.

Here is mine without the borders.

One tip: Don't use directional fabric.

I used Eleanor Burns Radiant Star, I bought the booklet and the DVD. It was super easy and super fast. Best of luck to you.

Here is a step by step tutorial that I did a year ago. Stars are really easy! You ought to be able to whip it together in no time. http://parkersnowefiberartblog.blogs...-tutorial.html

Hello Sweetpea...
I've walked through this easy method a while back.. Once you get the hang of it you can get through a star in a day. I like using strip piecing whenever possible.. Here's where I've documented the method I use.
Hope this is helpful.
