Question Long Arm Chairs

I would like to know if anyone has used a sadle chair with thier LA ,and if you have where did you get it? My knees just can't take standing for the long haul any more. Thanks

Unless your LA is table mounted it would be hard to use a chair. You are moving the machine alOng the frame so chair would be in your way. Maybe I am wrong, but wouldn't you have to get up an move the chair very often?

when i was a frequent visitor on the yahoo group homequiltingsystems, a few of the quilters loved their saddle chairs. personally, i thought about it, but decided against it in favor of being able to move around at will. to be kind to my knees, i just limit my time at the frame with frequent brakes.

I don't have one but a girl at the hair salon I frequent uses one. You could check your local beauty supply store; if they don't have one they could possibly order one for you. I did a quick search and found them here. Not as pricey as I thought they would be. http://www.sallybeauty.com/on/demand...implesearch=Go

have you tried an auto shop store? Or woodworkers? Sometimes they have rolling near standing height stools

I bought this one - http://www.bizchair.com/st205-os.html
It seems to be good quality. I haven't used it as much as I thought I would. I know some longarmers use theirs all the time.
