I have been scouting around for a LAQ. Never had one but played with a few.

What machines do you have and what do you like about them or wish they had?

My thoughts are about a 16 inch throat and a stitch regulator. Anything else that I should consider?

Do you have a stitch regulator with it?

Yes I have a stitch regulator with it. I also bought the
shirley Stitcher II which is the computerized system for it. I really like it too. They have just come out with a new update on it so it will even be better.

I don't have room for a long arm. I use one of my Juki TL98QE,s they have a larger throat and they work just fine. I have learned reading this board that you always have to buy extras to go with the long arms. Mine came with every thing I need. I regulate the stitches myself.

I'm in Indiana. Have you called your dealer to get the new update? I got it on Fri. and it seems to be much better and they finally have a decent manual that explains things. I haven't gotten much time to work with it but I think its going to be much better.
What kind of problems are you having?

I have the Tin Lizzie Queen quilter and love it. The frame is made so you can have it different widths, which is really handy. It has a stitch regulator which I really need since I'm not always all that steady.
